SU19-04 Exploring Creative Craft Skills to enhance the delivery of the Visual Arts Curriculum (CRAFTed)

Creative Craft Skills to enhance the delivery of the Visual Arts Curriculum is a hands-on exploration of Drawing, Painting, Fabric and Fibre, Printmaking, Clay and Construction. Planning and designing craft based class projects and exploring themes, materials and skills that support an integrated process led approach to the curriculum. Run in collaboration with the Design and Crafts Council of Ireland’s (DCCoI) CRAFTed Programme, all tutors are selected from the DCCoI Education Panel and have received training in the delivery of the Primary School Visual Arts Curriculum.
