We would like your input on the role and supports needed for Treoraithe (Host Teachers/Co-Operating Teachers for School Placements) in supporting student teachers on school placements in your schools. 

What are the Focus Groups About?

Schools play a very important role in the training of student teachers. 

The role of the Treoraí is key in guiding and supporting the student teacher during their placement experience.

We are hosting a series of focus groups with HEIs, student teachers, newly qualified teachers, principals/deputy principals and you the principal/deputy principal.

The information from these focus groups will help inform policy on the role of the Treoraí in School Placement and the partnership approach between all involved.
