This course aims to encourage use of the outdoor classroom by providing strategies to integrate learning across the curriculum with outdoor education. Using a range of creative strategies, we will explore local mythology, heritage, and biodiversity, as well as ways to make better use of your school garden and tips and tools to redesign your outdoor learning spaces. The beautiful setting of An Grianán NS garden will offer lots of inspiration and we will visit Dún na Sí Amenity and Heritage Park to explore different habitats and take a trip through Irish history.
