Introduction to LEGO Education SPIKE Essential Robotics

During this workshop, teachers will engage in an in-depth hands-on workshop introducing them to the LEGO© Education SPIKE Essential robotics kits and how to utilise these learning resources in their classroom.  The workshop will include computational thinking, word and block coding, as well as simple robotics challenges.  Teachers will also be introduced to the FIRST© LEGO© League (FLL) Explore Programme and the FLL Explore Teacher Guide for Ireland developed by the DCU Institute of Education, linking the programme to the primary school curriculum.
